Overview

Certain documents require original ink signatures. The following describes which documents require original ink signatures and which can be accepted with electronic signatures.

All billing documents such as VBills & Ebill Vouchers require original ink signatures. If a vbill references a  Privately Retained/Pro Bono/Student Attorney or Pro Se defendant, then the attorney/defendant also needs to sign in ink on the attorney signature line.

All other documents, such as travel approvals and allowed motions, can be accepted with electronic signatures.  Ebill vouchers selected for Random Review can be electronically sent (emailed) in with a signature.
