When starting a new Vbill, you cannot find your attorney in the drop down box.
The list of attorneys contains only those attorneys who are employees of CPCS, our staff attorneys. The most likely situation is that the attorney was in fact court-appointed, and has provided you with a NAC (notice of assignment of counsel) number. If you have that NAC number, first change the selection from the drop-down from "CPCS Employed Attorney" to "(select attorney type)."
Then, the NAC number box will reappear. Then enter the NAC number and click "OK", and the attorney/client information will be automatically populated.
The most common error is to enter the NAC number, but to not click "OK."
Once the attorney/client information loads, you can continue billing as normal.
