How Do I Change My Bank Account Information?

What information you need is dependent upon the reason you are changing your bank account information

 

  • If you are simply changing from one bank to another
    • Email us at vendorinfo@publiccounsel.net and we will send you an EFT DocuSign form to update your banking information 
      • Things you will need to submit to CPCS:
        • A voided check that matches the new account information
        • If a voided check is not available, then a letter from the new bank verifying the routing number, account number, and account holder's name
        • The old account's routing and account numbers

 

  • If you are leaving a firm to do work as an individual or you have worked as an individual and are converting to an LLC or sole proprietor

 

In both cases you will be emailed the necessary forms with detailed instructions on how to fill them out
